About
Señoreata is a Latina-owned modern Cuban cuisine catering company focusing on sustainable, accessible, culturally relevant food. Founded by Chef Evanice Holz in 2017, Señoreata revives heritage recipes to plant-based meals, proving even the most obscure, meat heavy cuisines can taste like a childhood memory, without meat and dairy.
Señoreata has served thousands of Californians and travelers who flock Los Angeles’s iconic outdoor food market, Smorgasburg LA. Smorgasburg LA has been rated as one of the 100 best places to eat in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Times two years in a row and boasts a roster of LA’s premier chefs and restaurants committed to pushing the envelope in food. Señoreata is honored to have had a weekly residency for 6 years from February 2017-February 2024 before their next venture to full-time catering, wholesale, and restaurant take-out.
In 2022, Señoreata competed as the only plant-based and Latina-owned restaurant concept amongst 8 of the nation’s best food trucks in Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race Season 15, hosted by Chef Tyler Florence. Señoreata made history as the first plant-based restaurant to win in the show’s 15 seasons, and by the highest margin in the TV show’s and competition’s history.
